You also want the shirt a little big in case of cold weather so your child can wear a sweatshirt under the shirt. Baseball pants are short 4-6 inches above ankle the need to fit the waist. Pants ordered for length will be too big in waist and buttocks with the crotch hanging like a wet diaper. ***UNFORM ORDERED TO YOUR SIZING IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY***

CYO/MYB is a Parent Volunteer organization. 1 parent from each family MUST work for the league in one of the designated capacities. If you are the parents of twins, you must be prepared to be a Manager, Coach, or Team Parent.

Seasons are short, if you know you are going to miss 3 or more games, please do not sign up as it will conflict with the 11 other children on your team.

Parents are generally assigned to their first choice, but the needs of the team may make it necessary for you to fill a capacity on your team that was not even a choice. Your child and the children of the team need you to step forward and be part of a successful season.

If you are unable to perform your volunteer assignment please contact us ASAP, not fulfilling your assignment will directly affect your family registration the next year.

Manhattan Athletic is a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization that helps inner city children attain better health and education through baseball. Your sponsorship dollars help support these programs as well as keep costs down for running the weekend leagues. Team sponsorship is exempt from Parent Assignment.

Scholarships are available for any family in need. Once a scholarship is granted to a family, the player is responsible to the League to: Maintain passing grades and stay out of trouble.

If a player is struggling with their grades, we will help them find tutoring. If they don't work for better grades, we will rescind the scholarship. Players in their teens who are in our program will also be introduced to mentoring programs from the larger NYC businesses.

As parent or legal guardian of the above applicant, I hereby consent to his/her participation in any and all activities in the Manhattan Athletics and agree to abide by all rules and regulations of the institution. In consideration of the Manhattan Athletics accepting this registration and permitting the participation of above applicant, which I believe would be of educational, physical and other benefits; I assume all risks and hazards incidental in participation in all activities. I hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Manhattan Athletics, its officials, coaches, employees, assigns and representatives and all persons transporting my child/dependent to and from activities from any and all claims, actions and liability arising out of or in connection with my child’s participation in any aspect of Manhattan Athletics, whether or not such injury is caused by the negligence, willful mis-conduct or other inaction of the indemnitees or any of them. I certify that he/she is in good health and able to participate in all activities and in the case of emergency affecting my child, I hereby give permission for a physician or hospital designated by Manhattan Athletics to administer treatment to my child. I also understand that Manhattan Athletics has a no refund policy for any reason at any time for any programs unless Manhattan Athletics is unable to deliver the program. I understand that $250 of my fee is a donation to Manhattan Youth Baseball
