Rec Ball Rule Book 2013 w.TWT

Started New in the Fall 2102 and Continuing in the Spring of 2013
TNT Baseball a Division of Travel teams playing 1 game on Saturdays without Travel

League Instructors Manage Teams – Little League rules/player pitch

Each Team will have a League Instructor Act as the Manager of a Team for the Entire season
Each week there will be a 2 hour week day practice and 1 hour pre game practice for all teams.
Rounding out the team will be Parent Volunteer’s to Co-Manager / Assistant Coaches / Team Parents in the 3 divisions 8U, 10U and 12U

  • Randall’s Island – Little League Rules – player pitching
  • Saturdays, April  - Early June
  • No Game:  Memorial Day Weekend
  • Fair weather Weekday practice’s scheduled for Monday’s for 8U , Wednesday for  10U and Friday’s for 12U
  • Locations for practice are Great Lawn, Heckscher Ball fields, Great Lawn, and Thomas Jefferson Park 4-6pm
  • Season Fee $600  early registration / $700 regular

Weekend Leagues  House Team (HT)
Players need mitt, batting helmet and boys over 9 or 4th grade must have an athletic cup

This is the program that is familiar to returning players
Parent Volunteers will Manage Teams – Modified Little League rules/Machine pitch

Each Team will have a League Instructor for the pre-game practice drills
Each week there will be a 1 hour pre game practice for all teams.
Rounding out the team will be Parent Volunteer’s to Assistant Coaches / Team Parents in the 3 divisions 8U, 10U and 12U

  • Saturdays, April  - Early June
  • No Game:  Memorial Day Weekend
  • Special clinic on Tuesday for pitching and catching and on Friday’s for hitting at PS 96, 216 E. 120th St. from 5-6pm limited to groups of 10 at $25 each
  • Locations for practice are John Jay park, Heckscher Ball fields, Great Lawn, and Thomas Jefferson Park 4-6pm
  • Season Fee $300 early registration / $400 regular (no transportation provided)

Rule Meetings:
230 E. 90th St Our Lady of Good Counsel –  for all Coaches (C) and Manager (M) if you are ASGN other than C or M you may attend but it is not necessary.

Div 12U – Monday April 1 at 7 pm
Div TWT 10U – Monday April 1 at 6.30 pm
Div 8U – Tuesday April 2 at 6.30 pm
Div TWT 8U – Tuesday April 2 at 7.45 pm
Div K & PK Wednesday April 3 at 6.30 pm
Div 7U – Wednesday April 3  at 7.45 pm

Saturdays Randall’s Island – U=under ie 10U = 10 and under

April  - Early June  -No Games: Memorial Day Weekend

  • 2 Divisions of play
  •  TNT Baseball – a Travel League division.
  • HT Baseball – a House Team learning division
  • 5U to 14U are co-ed
    Machine Pitch games/player pitching start at 9/10 year old

Saturdays Central Park

  • 17U

Sundays Great Lawn Central Park

  • April – Early June – No Game: Memorial Day Weekend
  • Sunday Baseball 5U-9U – Coach pitch games
